These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AIAlternative, an AI tool directory platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
AIAlternative provides:
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
When submitting a tool to our directory, you must:
All submissions are reviewed before publication. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any submission at our discretion. Free submissions are typically reviewed within 24-48 hours. Featured and Sponsored listings receive priority review.
Free submissions require a reciprocal backlink to AIAlternative on your website. We may verify the backlink and remove listings where the backlink is not maintained.
API keys are personal and must not be shared. You are responsible for all activity associated with your API key. We may revoke keys that are misused.
API usage is subject to rate limits (default: 10 requests per day). Exceeding rate limits will result in temporary request blocking. We may adjust limits at our discretion.
You must not use our API to:
Featured ($29) and Sponsored ($79) listings are one-time payments processed by Stripe. All payments are non-refundable once the listing has been approved and published. Payment grants enhanced visibility, not guaranteed traffic or outcomes.
The AIAlternative platform, including its design, code, and content, is our intellectual property. Tool listings and user-submitted content remain the property of their respective submitters. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the directory.
AIAlternative is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of tool listings, uptime of the directory, or any specific outcomes from using our services. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, including spam submissions, API abuse, or fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
